The Marketplace has been opened up from its winter nap.
We have groomed the grounds ready for our 2011 season.
Come join us on Saturday May 28th for Opening Day
Spring is in Sight!
Well, it might be snowing a bit today but you can feel Spring poking around the edges of the Wakefield Marketplace.
Our farmers have started some of their seeds (you have to be an optimist to be a farmer) and our crafters are in their workshops getting ready for opening day.
Keep your eyes peeled for more announcements as we get closer to our 2011 season at the Marketplace.

Welcome to 2011 at the Wakefield Marketplace!
Our crafters are all busy working the winter months producing new and exciting items for the 2011 season.
Our farmers are all buried deep under a mound of seed catalogs picking tasty varieties of good healthy veggies to start growing for you in 2011!
Applications to be a vendor at the Marketplace will be available soon!

Our Crafters will be busy all winter and our farmers are already planning their crops for next year including have early spring vegetables ready for opening day in 2011.

Last Weekend is Here!
This Saturday, October 9th, will be our last Market for the 2010 season. 9am to 3pm
There are still lots of great veggies, corn stalks to decorate your house, and of course lots of great crafts.
Come get the last of summer good food while getting a jump on your holiday gift shopping at the same time.
It may be the last market but please mark your calenders for our great
Holiday Fair on Saturday Nov 20th
at the Paul School. We have twice the space this year and our crafters are busy making lots of great gifts.

As we move into Fall there are just 4 more Saturday’s for the 2010 Wakefield Marketplace season.
There are great veggies and wonderful crafts to see so please come and join us.
Our last weekend will be Oct 10th.
But that’s not the end of 2010!
Mark you calendar for our fabulous Holiday Fair on Saturday November 20th from 9am to 3pm at the Paul School!
Not only will there be fabulous crafts for Holiday Presents but Veggies Too – a Winter Farmers Market!
Labor Day Weekend is Upon Us!
As usual we all ask “where has the summer gone?” But here we are with Labor Day weekend approaching once again.
Make plans to stop by the Wakefield Marketplace next Saturday, Sept 4th from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Make it part of your annual Labor Day weekend TO DO’s!
All our veggie farmers will be there. The bounty of summer is still with us. Now is the time to buy a lot of fresh Green Beans and other summer treats to freeze or can so you can enjoy the tastes of a Wakefield Summer all winter long.
Our crafter’s have started gearing up for the holidays. Now is the time to pick out that special handmade gift for a loved one.

July 17th – More Veggies!
The summer veggies are starting to come on strong.
Some of the field grown vine ripened tomatoes may make it to the Marketplace this Saturday.
Summer squash and all the other goodies of summer are here now.
Our crafters have been busy too.
